You can... read more also walk across to the other side of the river to the newer part of Bilbao within about 20 minutes. Although it’s close to everything, it’s quiet and enjoyable to hear the sounds of local streets at play and work. It’s one of the reasons we enjoy AirBNB.

We had everything we needed for our 5 day stay in apartment including a washing machine, clothesline outside the bedroom window and kitchen facilities. The beds are comfortable and bathrooms clean.

I would recommend this to others with the note that to get to the old city and beyond, there are steep flights of stairs to go down first. There’s an escalator up them however an incline still needs to be navigated. We enjoyed the exercise however some people may not. But it’s a great view when you get to the top!

There is no airco but due to the location (not directly in the sun during the day), we luckily didn't have any issues with the warmth inside as we stayed there in very warm weekend (30+ degrees). The beds are very comfy and the bedrooms are spatious. Two bathrooms were both OK.
There was some outside noise during the night, but all in all there's not a lot of traffic passing by and thanks to the blinds the daylight cannot enter the bedroom. We didn't make lunch or dinner ourselves and thus did not use the kitchen very much, however it did look equipped with everything you would need.
There was some flexibility regarding check-in and -out which was highly appreciated.

Anche l’edificio è bello, vicinissimo al supermercato e a due minuti dal mercato della Ribera e dal Casco Vejio. Non avendo l’aria condizionata pensavamo avremmo avuto caldo, ma pur essendo agosto abbiamo dormito con una leggera coperta (ma c’erano i ventilatori, non abbiamo avuto bisogno di usarli). Comodo e sicuro anche il garage. Wi-fi sempre velocissimo. Comunicazioni con l’host efficienti e puntuali. Consigliamo calorosamente!

It would have been nice if over our 6 nights there was a change of linen/towels and a couple of hand towels for the kitchen, but this is a minor issue. Also, the oven is a small microwave/grill one, so don't plan and serious roasting, but all the rest of the kitchen is very good!

The big issue is parking, but this is not Nerea's fault - to the contrary they gave us all possible guidance on how to deal with it - but parking in Bilbao is a nightmare, so either be prepared to pay a lot of money for an underground parking space during your entire stay, or run around to deal with the pathetic curbside parking system.

Regardless of the parking thing though, it is a great place that I am very happy to recommend!
