It would have been nice if over our 6 nights there was a change of linen/towels and a couple of hand towels for the kitchen, but this is a minor issue. Also, the oven is a small microwave/grill one, so don't plan and serious roasting, but all the rest of the kitchen is very good!

The big issue is parking, but this is not Nerea's fault - to the contrary they gave us all possible guidance on how to deal with it - but parking in Bilbao is a nightmare, so either be prepared to pay a lot of money for an underground parking space during your entire stay, or run around to deal with the pathetic curbside parking system.

Regardless of the parking thing though, it is a great place that I am very happy to recommend!

It was also... read more less than 5 minutes from the La Ribera Market and a supermarket, and basically within walking distance of all the sightseeing we wanted to do. Bilbao is very walkable! Amaya was nice enough to meet us when we arrived in our rental car from a Barcelona flight. She was able to accommodate an earlier check-in, which was greatly appreciated, and took the time to review the city map with us and get us oriented.
The apartment is welcoming. It was spotless, the beds were very comfortable, showers hot, no issue with Wifi and it was quiet at night. We had the best time, thank you!

The location of the apartment was great for us to explore Bilbao and... read more was very close to shops and 5 min walk to Old Town and ~30 min walk away from the Guggenheim. For families with strollers there is one hill with steps but it is very manageable and there are escalators for the way back up. The location was quiet at night and there are shutters to block out the light so all our kids slept very well.

The apartment was perfect for us. We were 4 adults and 3 kids and there was plenty of room. The beds and pillows were super comfortable!! The hosts supplied two travel cots for us for the babies which was very helpful.

We stayed in July and it was +30 degrees. There is no air conditioning but there is a fan and the temperature of the apartment was comfortable when the windows were opened.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Bilbao.
